JOEPUTA VIDA

As if it was unusual I was late for class today. I had 9.00 am class, but I arranged to see a friend of mine at 10.00 for he was due to do me a favor. What I had thought was to fake a "go-to-the-bathroom" at ten o'clock and escape from class to meet my friend. But I arrived at 9.40 am so I decided against class and I went straight to wait for my friend to come. I was going to be in class at 10.00 anyway.

I must admit that I've been sensitive these days. I've been remembering the best moments of my life, which I lived by the one I've ever loved side. What I'm worried about is that maybe I still love him, despite of all the pain and despite of all the things that separate.

He and I fell apart. We're distant now, despite we study in the same college. We do so to avoid any misunderstanding or any bad moment. So, we skip on each other all the time, better yet, I skip on him all the time.

Getting on the subject again, I arranged to meet my friend at the Linux Room. It's usually open but this morning when I was coming round I saw it was closed. But I saw something moving inside, so I decided to knock. Guess who opened the door.

My heart skipped a beat and all I could mumble was "Good morning". Then I sat down in front of a computer hanging my head and cursing my bad luck.

De quinta

Not many times in our lifes we can say that a funeral happens to be funny. Maybe when you're not one of the death-one's relatives any detail that go wrong may seem funny. But what I saw was just more than I could stand before laughing out loud. (Which I did)

It seems the funeral was a clown's. I knew it 'cause this friend of a friend of mine heard one of them talking in a public phone, and said: "We're here at the burial of the clown, somebody killed him in a bus".

I was in the middle of a very interesting (sarcastic tone) class of Audit. Well, the class is so funny, so much that the teacher doesn't even go and sends one of his assistants, skinny, ugly and loser assistant. The stupid still says "I'm going to show you some microphotographies" the asshole doesn't even know the meaning of the word "slide". But well, I'm taking care of the teachers problem in some other post in the future.

I was paying attention in class. At the window, of course. When I saw the bus arrive, the funeral car and some other cars. Nothing odd, I thought. But when the people started to get off the bus I started to get fun as I've never done in Audit class.

The first ones getting off were a group of Mariachis, after them about seventy people exited the bus. The maximum capacity of the bus was about forty passengers. There was a moment when I thought: "People are never gonna stop getting off that bus". But that's not it. Each event was funnier than the previous. The next thing that happened was notorious. The people in that funeral were very disorganized. More than a funeral they seemed to be in a market square (the most rednecker you can think of) buying tomatoes... Or selling them?

Everyone of them, without exception, were the kind of people that you see and you can't help but thinking: "Holy Mary, they have the word HUNGER all writen in their face. I better go now, I don't want to get robbed". Their looks were simply criminal.

After they got the coffin inside the Church all of them entered and they were out of my sight for about twenty minutes. So I started with a new subject in my mind: Some statistical research about how many cute guys, half-cute guys and ugly guys passed by in front of the university in that amount of time. Results were overwhelming: 85% ugly, nerds and not well dressed guys, 13% half-cute guys, that is, not so ugly, not nerds and reasonably well dressed, and 2% cute guys. (Population 96 people). That was the saddest part of the burial.

While they were in the mass, the mariachis were off to lunch or something like that... I don't know exactly but the thing was that when the mass was over and they were putting the coffin in the car the mariachis arrived and started to play a song. I really burst out laughing when I saw that they were not complete... one of them, who seemed not to be aware of the crucial moment, running down the street with his guitar in hand playing, without the hat and without shame, he joined the rest of the group with a very comic gesture... in the middle of the song and as if nothing had happened.

So loud I laughed that I really felt ashamed because I was still in class. Then I couldn't stand it anymore and I took my digital camera to immortalize the moment. THe next thing that happened: The mariachis went away and the burial went on in its way to the cementery.

But, oh! surprise! One of the cars wouldn't start. Then, in the most irresponsible way, a very rednecker guy, with a cigarret in his mouth, opened the car while asking other guy to try and start it, suddenly he started putting some gas in it. The worst part was that he actually was putting his hand inside and moving something in there unaware of the risk of exploding, him and his fucking arm. Not to mention the fact that another guy got in the car and almost over the coffin started to play a song in a kind of radio.

But if there have ever been a funnier event than watching the people got off the bus was watching them get in again. The picture speaks by its self.

Finally the God damned never started and they had to push it all the way down the street:

Better yet: The burial was "DE QUINTA"

De buenas

Mi dearest bitch (pet) Dorotea was run over by a car on Saturday. The terrible incident happened about nine p.m. Mi mom went to give her a ride without the collar and she, poor lil' pet, hurried to cross the street. When suddenly, a cab hit her.

The poor animal fled away in panic to the house from the scene of the accident. And when she got here she didn't even show any sign of something going wrong. Well, nothing besides getting here stinking because she landed in some kind of horse pee, and being frightened.

Until yesterday when she started to take black craps. When my mother said: "Dog's shit is black" I answered "It must be blood that she must be getting rid of"... ah but when you're young you're never right for older people... so my mother didn't give a shit for what I said, and as I expected they didn't believe me.

They didn't until today when they found the big blood stain in the floor near the entrance. Then I was right. What I felt most sad about was the fact that we didn't have any money. That meant that Dorotea would die in agony. We didn't have any money for the exams and procedures the vet told us to.

Thank God my dear old widow aunt lent us the money for everything. And we were: DE BUENAS. The dog just had some broken vessels and was just getting rid of the blood she had accumulated after the accident. That means she won't die.

May God bless the TORRENT. Better yet, may God bless those who invented it. I could've never EVER hoped to get the whole discography from two of my favorite bands using the holy P2P shit. Those we used long ago to download songs. Those we still use 'cause of the inerce force, 'cause of how lazzy we are or 'cause of the bandwidth.

I just downloaded a 2,8 GB sized TORRENT with the whole discography of RHCP and: ESTA UNA CHIMBA!
